Default Le Mans pit lane

Not many folks get to see it from this angle.

I managed to sneak one Lotus into the shot but I'm open to offers on what the red one is. Abarth perhaps?

Pete -

Fun shot. Was it the Abarth or the Zagato that had the double bubble on most of its car roofs? That's proabaly your answer.

I'm now thinking OSCA Zagato.

Is it an Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato? The roof mounted venturis (or whatever they are) may be later additions fitted for racing.

I found it in the programme- it is an OSCA, as postulated by my learned friend in NY.

Zagato's are normally a gentle double bubble on the roof line. I say 'normal' - nothing is normal!

Edit: Having said that, here's a Zag without the bubble - note the Z under the side strake.

According to the programme it is an OSCA 1600 GTS Zagato- not something I'm familiar with at all. Those roof vents don't look like the delicate Zagato double-bubble we are used to seeing; I bet they were tacked on by some back-street garagiste when the car was worthless.

Anyone seen the new Zagato Bentley? As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on the front-end looks. But, hey.......

I hear they're making ten of the Zagato Bentley - I actually quite liked it! I have a GTC but can't say it's a thing of beauty, but the Zagato I do like....
