Interesting that you selected the heavy black of the opposite barrier as your "visual horizon". The resulting effect works very very well across the whole frame.

I'm going crazy trying to remember what the Lauda STP car is, without looking it up in a book. Is it something obscure like a Toleman, or am I missing the obvious?

Ron, wonderful images. What kind of film & which lens? Need to learn from the experts. Love the toning. I think it adds a real grit.

The first could be 24 or 35, the second is 35mm, the film was Kodak 160NC. The first shot could have a better quality, the JPEG compression was pretty high.
