Allan -

Wonderful all for your usual exposure and color prowess, but the angle on #1 just sets it apart from the sea of auto photos that I keep returning to it.

Hi Stuart.

I think you are imagining you are at the wheel of a sky-blue Renault with a left-hander ahead!

Thanks.

Allan, there are stunning shots. They are so real and three dimensional that it feels like you can reach into the screen and touch them. Bravo.

Thank you very much, Michael.

I'm delighted you enjoy. F1 is a passion to me. I live for the race coming to town. Hopefully I can get more pictures as the week goes on.

Allan,

There was a time I felt the same. I would schedule my whole life around the race calendar, I could name the first six positions of every race in any season, I could give a blow by blow account of each race, I could tell from a photograph what circuit a given car was set up for from the on-going mods through the season and its sponsorship livery. But things have changed. It's not the same these days, indeed sometimes I even find myself dozing off during a race!
Still, isn't Alonso the boy? A true champion, a cut above the others. Worth watching.

I look forward to seeing your reportage over the USA meeting.

cheers

Michael

Awesome shots! Wish I were there. Looking forward to seeing more from this racing weekend. Hope it's going to be a more interesting race than last year!

Thanks Michael for sharing your experiences. I've gone through peaks and valleys too. Kimi's my boy; calls us natives "Petrol-heads"! Bless his little, white Finnish noggin!

Thank you John! I'll try to put up a picture from today a little later.

Allan

Thanks Ed!

I'd guess f5.6 at 1/1000 on these, as it was a bright day about ten in the morning....

Thanks.
