Default Tour de France

Tour de France, time trials on Saturday. Blimey they were fast! Totally the wrong camera to use but I hadn't gone out to take photos of this especially.

Well you adopted the right approah with the 'wrong' camera. Panning is the way to go <grin>

They do go at a lick don't they. I've seen them doing street circuits before and the speed is incredible - even more so here I expect where they were doing a time trial.

Hi Steve,

Yes this was during time trials so it was one bike at a time with motorcyles in front and support cars behind.

I have a few 'blank' frames, they were going that fast! I couldn't make it up to London on the Sunday to see the race proper.

Hey James, it's not bad considering the wrong camera and what looks like very tricky contrast between the bright sun and dark shadows.
