Default Morris Oxford

I'm not a car buff, but I'm pretty certain I've got this one correct <grin>

Steve,
Lovely framing, selective focus, detail and colours captured.
Very pleasing.

The four fellows from Phoenix, who trousered all the BMW money then cleared off should be strung up, IMHO. Probably.

What a heritage we have lost - Allegro, Maxi, Marina, Princess - all gone...

Nice details in this one Steve - but I wouldn't fancy having to peer at the temp gauge on the radiator to see if she was about to blow. My current car doesn't have a temperature gauge at all!

A wonderful photograph. Firstly, an evocative subject which is attractive to look at. Secondly, great control of light and colour and selective focus.

I agree with Andy, we have (almost) completely lost our wonderful engineering heritage in the UK. I worry especially about my students who have little contact with anything other than service industries. You wait until we have an emergency over ball bearings - that'll be a wake up call for this country.

It's sad what's happened. There was a news article on the radio the other day which mentioned in passing that manufacturing only accounted for something like 15% of the UK economy. How times have changed.

It's a Morris and it's from Oxford!

If you are going to get me started on the demise of UK manufacturing industry and who was to blame, pass the AK47 Comrade.........
