Lächeln Personally, I like the Hickory Flavor....

but I can see how some people prefer the Texas-style barbecue!

Allan -

With your caption, this belongs on the PS page of Road & Track. You might try sending it to them.

Could you explain the barbeque reference, for me, Allan?

I can't see any charcoal at all...

Great candid, Allan. Those colors really have some punch.

Andy--It's all in the aroma. I can smell those ribs all the way up here in Madison.

Thanks Brent! And I like your suggestion Stuart...might have to give them a try with it!

Andy, the photograph is from a NASCAR stock car test session, and the engineers are discussing something (possibly their next meal???) as driver Jeff Burton listens and considers.

Stock car racing in the US has a stereotype associated with the southern states, of good ole' boys and whiskey and racin' and...barbecued meats of all sorts. Because there are regional variations in what people do to create their "BBQ" (some like it hickory wood-smoked, others prefer mesquite-wood and thus the reference to Texas), it seemed quite plausible to me that these men were discussing their own tastes in this regard.

I hope that long-winded discourse on American culture is helpful to others!

Thanks everyone for looking and commenting on the picture!

Allan
