Default Best seat on the train!

Digilux-2 at 100ASA

Taken on a special 'Tradition Zug' on the metre-gauge Selketelbahn during an enthusiasts' weekend - there were 4 carriages full of enthusiasts behind the photographer, every one of them envying this guy!

John -

One of the best RR shots I've seen in quite some time -- partly for its unusual view, but also for its framing, timing (to catch some attractive bend in the track, and sides of the carriage), and exposure.

Thanks Stuart

This is one of my favourite shots from that visit to the Harz in autumn 2004. This group of metre-gauge lines is very photogenic, and very welcoming to tourists - whether they are railway enthusiasts or not.
