Default No more trains.

This barge is passing along the Shropshire Union Canal "under" the remains of a bridge which carried the the Great Western Railway line from Audlem to Nantwitch.

He won't have to worry about hitting the bridge with his head
I find this shot very appealing.
Thanks for sharing.

This narrowboat (not barge ) driver, needs to learn how to keep in the middle of the cut.

IMHO, despite the scenery, the Shropshire Union is one of the dullest of Britain's canals. Having travelled on it several times, the section which has no locks on it is of very little interest for the people on the boat.

Plenty of pubs, though, which do compensate...

If you want a really good day out on the canals, go to the Tardebigge flight on the Worcester & Birmingham, or the Caen Hill flight on the Kennet & Avon

I bow to your superior knowledge , yes I recall now that a barge is one of those things that lists to starboard and has a mast, not unlike a telephone pole, amidships.

Thanks for the comments folks.
