Default For steam fans, archive shot....

Shot with the IIIc and, judging by the field of view, not with one of my lenses (perhaps a borrowed 3.5cm?).

There's a phrase in the highway code that reads 'always give way to trains'. Very sensible advice and something that also applies to traction engines.

This is sort of charming. "Darling Buds of May"-like.

Thanks chaps; it deserves a better scanner than I've got, before the negative completely decomposes.

If you can trust it out of your hands bring it to the Liverpool meeting and I'll scan if for you and post it back.

I have about six tea chests full to the brim, containing everything from 35mm half-frame to 10x8 negs; how much time do you have?

And there I was thinking I was volunteering to scan one negative :-)

I'd be happy to do a 'reasonable' selection - it might push you into buying a decent scanner.
