Default Another Adler

Seen at the Concours d'Elegance at the Le Mans Classic, one of the advantages of having a press pass is gaining admittance to the manicured lawn before Joe Public is let loose!

Cheers,
Pete.

Pete -

Thank you for showing this -- I must admit I've never seen one before, and your series with interesting details is quite good. About 1950?

Stu,
I hadn't never seen one in the flesh before; from Ron's link it looks like there was more than one variant and judging by the size of the radiator intake on some of the link photos it looks like they had a cooling problem!

Can you tell us more about these cars Ron?

btw, BMW streamliner coming soon.

Cheers,
Pete.

Pete, they experienced a lot these days. It was not only a cooling problem (you sure have with airstream-desings) but also an attempt to find the best mix of good aerodynamic and cooling.

BMW welcome, please post before sunday

Ron

Pete,

I like all these shots. Number three (close-up of rear windows and boot) I find particularly good, very minimalist.

Wow! Number 1 & 2 get my vote . . . I think the angle adds to the streamline of this fine motor.
