Brad:

When you get it sharp, the Noctilux can look like you shot with a big 400mm f2.8. Too bad you didn't get the face.

magnificent photograph, perfectly timed & focused
amazingly sharp with well isolated subject
however did you get so close?
I live in Houston & have been going a good deal to the show, but have not attended the actual rodeo as I understand it is near impossible to get near enough to shoot without using a 200 mm lens or greater
yours is a truly outstanding photograph
my admiration & congrats

thanks everyone for the comments. arthur-i enjoyed your hlsr shots as well. especially the carnival with the gray sky. trying to shoot the pig races today if it stops raining. got my rodeo shots from outside the ring. im working at the rodeo and sneak some shots every once in a while. helps to have a little old leica. the guys with those massive lenses havent even noticed me...b
