Like the breadth and depth + the BW lighting tones (in this composition), and the lead car.

Great shot! However I shudder to think of the amount of lift that the front of the 'vette will generate at speed - understeerus maximus!

with best wishes

Frightening thought, but I'll bet it has enough weight up there to keep the front end planted...

Wonderful use of the super wide. This lens is looking to be a real winner.

As the letters on the front say: Lift and weight-balance is "OK"
(This Vette was a real hammer).

Ron -

Fabulous for its drama which is due to the angle, lens selection, depth, framing, and astonishing full tonal range.

Yes, indeed, top-notch. Wonderful clouds and sky, and the Corvette is so well caught.

Ron, that is a very good shot.
Can you explain the lens to me (I'm ignorant in such matters) is that 16, 18, 21 in mm, as in 35mm film focal-length terms, or in that new-fangled digital stuff?

What length did you use for this shot?

Cheers,
Pete.

Pete, it´s 16/18/21mm at 35mm-fullframe.
I think it was at 18 mm, but am not sure.

Ronald,

Great shot of a great car! I drove one back in the late '60's. At 130 MPH the front end hankered down and it became remarkably stable. Thanks for the memories!
