In the Blue Mountains about a two-hour drive out of Sydney is the Zig Zag railway, which still operates #934 and two other steam locomotives for 90 minutes of train-buff fun. The fireman was exceptionally nice and let Barbara shovel coal into the firebox – a big thrill for her. More Zig Zag photos on the first page of “Australia After PNG” photo gallery.

Hi Stuart.
Agree with Paul...sterling colors and sense of motion in the first image, and the former in the badge. Thanks for sharing. Allan

The Works Plate is quite the most elaborate example I've ever seen - I wonder if Clyde used this design on all of its production? Well seen.

Excellent tone and dof, Stuart, and I particularly like the tiny semaphore signal box in the background. Doesn't look like there's enough room for the billy (kettle) as well as the levers and the signalman! For some reason the words "garden" and "shed" spring to mind.
Pete.

Nice shot Stuart and I love the colors and composition . Did you take that with your R9 DMR?
