Default Couple UP and Erie-Lackawanna Engine

The first two shots are just a UP train passing under me on a bridge. Shot at 1/50th. so it was going pretty slow. The last three are pictures of a Erie-Lackawanna engine at the Museum of Transportation. It was built in 1968 and is huge and the Conrail donated it to the museum around the 1980's. Now Dan and William, I am not sure if the the Delaware-Lackawanna engine you photographed has any relationship to the Erie-Lackawanna engine? When I saw your Lackawanna shots I thought it was the same but it turned out to be Erie first. All shot with Leica O series and with Rollei Pan 25 film for fun.

Superb, as usual. Great use of the Rollei film.

There is a bicycle route in seattle that takes you through some train yards like this near Elliott Bay. One of my favorite rides especially for this part, the train yard. There are some places you just can't get with a car. And I love to travel by train. Thank you for bringing this all to mind with your photos!
