Just thought members might be interested in a few more shots taken today in London's Portobello Road street market with my CV 50 Nokton 1.1. Most are f1.1 but some were f1.4 due to bright sunlight (but of course I can't remember which).

Louis, all the frames have interesting content. In the color ones, I'd dial back on the PP some so you can see what the lens renders more clearly. In the B&W work, it's evident to see that the lens & your eye are a good match.

Louis,
Beautiful images, its a easy lens to get along with. I have not owned a Noct and having read about difficulty focusing the noct I was a bit concerned when getting the Nokton 1.1, but it have turned out that maybe the most remarkable feature of the nokton 1.1 might be its lack of "special problems" its easy to use and very transparent, as in me not having to remember a special process for using the lens. . |

Yes, the OOF in the first and, more again, in the third is really someway strange and unusual... is it for PP ? I would be curios to see the straight-unprocessed version of #3...

Louis, outstanding reportage. Great colours and mood. #1 is terrific for clearness and focus.
In the Fall I will seriously think about getting this lens.

I see what Ben is saying about the color images, but I find them strangely attractive. You have created some sort of distance between the viewer and the images. Weird but effective IMHO.

These photos capture Portobello Rd. perfectly, bokeh and all. Having shopped there with my wife a few times I think they capture the character of the place quite well. It is a unique look, but then Portobello Rd. is unique as well.
