Default Lest we forget

I was in London yesterday, for the Lord Mayor's Show. I took the time to go to the Garden of Rememberance at Westminster Abbey. I took a number of shots, but this one stood out.

Respect and regards,

Bill

That is outstanding, Bill.

Our ceremony in the village isn't until this afternoon - I hope the weather improves...

Sad and tragic to think of what might have been accomplished by each of those lost lives. Potent image, this--and a powerful composition.

Gentlemen, thank you very much. As some of you who frequent the Customer Forum may remember I went through a bit of a photographic crisis recently. This was one shot from two days of intensive card-filling in both Brighton and London that was intended as "self-therapy" to help me to get over the "block". Your encouraging and inspiring comments and feedback are a big help too. When I get the chance I shall post more shots from both "expeditions".

Regards,

Bill

Bill -

What a fine example of overcoming your "block". This venue does shout out to be photographed, but I suspect that it was difficult to come up with a shot this effective. Very haunting. Well done.
