Borrowed a Leica last week ..

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and the world of Leica. I borrowed one (M7) for a couple days last week on a trip to DC and I am blown away by the clarity and detail these cameras/lenses capture. Attached are some of the shots from this trip. First time Leica shooter .. and WOW do these cameras deliver. Enjoy the images and please send any constructive criticism my way.

Hi Justin,

Welcome to the wonderful world of Leica. I must warn you that once the bug bites you it hurts your pocket real bad... These images are fantastic. You certainly have a gift for using a rangefinder. They do work different to SLR's and are by no means everyones cup of tea. Thank you for sharing these images with us. #1 with the escalators is brilliant and my favorite.

I really appreciate the comments and remarks. The bug has surely bitten but regrettably I don't think I'll be able to make the transition to Leica quite yet :-)

These cameras are incredible and I know now what all the hype is about. Everyone in here who shoots with these quality tools are indeed lucky from my perspective. Great tool. Amazing glass. Phenomenal clarity and details. The tones, contrast, saturation it produces .. sigh .. one day.

Patience can be rewarded; it took me almost 10 years of wishing and saving before I got my first Leica [an SL which I've now had for 27 years and still use regularly.
