well seen, there is a special 'mood' in this scene. The street with its contents gives me a strange input. So many things at the sidewalks, etc. etc. and this guy...
Just a decisive moment... cheers Bernd

Hi Richard, i've been wanting to comment this good shot but hesitated.Obviously it's a good one as you can see from the comments, but may i suggest a small thing ? The man's face is totally dark, at least that's how i'm seeing it.If it is, you can dodge slightly bringing out some detail in it. There is some detail, i'm sure. By the way, VERY WELL CAPTURED. Best Azzo

Paul, Klaus, Brian, Gareth, Thank you all for your comments, simple adjectives that have great meaning to me.
Ivan, Thank you for your suggestion, I have just brought up the RAW file again and played with dodgeing the highlights and midtones and it didn't work out. It seemed artificial to me because, as you may notice, from the flare of light at the window and tree trunk, the pool of light he is standing in, and his shadow on the ground that he is strongly back lighted and only the spot on his forehead above his right eye would be highlighted. |
