Default Paris, restaurant or fast food

I'm not sure this really works. This was on the left bank and I was trying to take a photograph that contrasted the guy in the restaurant with the kebab place next door. I was really hoping that the kebab shop owner would pop his head into the frame but it didn't happen. One that got away I suppose <grin>

Agree.

Crop to the bistro sign.

Kebabs just make you ill anyway...

Yup, do the crop.
Never eaten a Donor Kebab, was not sure which animal donated it.

Steve,

rich and clear, a good shot. The suggested crop works too, in my opinion.

You have missed out on one of life's great experiences.

Like 15% mortgage rates.

Nah,
Did the 15% mortgage thang, just used herbs for a while instand of flesh; home-grown in the loft

I wouldn't crop a thing. Statement of the times and the nose in the air only makes it more so. Up there with HCB, in my book.

Great use of Canon and Leica gear! The man's expression is priceless. Everything to the right of the bistro sign is distracting. Would you consider burning that area or softening the focus, or both? Cropping that section would also eliminate the distraction. Excellent capture.

Steve,

I really like the look on the guys face and the two people walking which are reflected just before the sign. Go for the crop.

Best,

Ray

No leave it as it is. There is a contrast between the list of foods available and the expression on the chap at the table. I don't think he is waiting for a kebab? Am I making sense here?

After all the weighing in, to crop or not to crop, that is the question? Steve I would be interested in your view, it is your picture.

Richard, as I mentioned originally my intention was to try to contrast the two eating places, and that I didn't think it was very successfull. After careful consideration I think it would look better cropped :-)
