Agree 100% with Stuart about image quality!

I'm going to vote "alive" - & a bit frightening. OK, I know they're just store dummies, but they do look disturbingly dead/alive at the same time.

(I've been reading Nicholson Baker's new book about the beginnings of WWII, & against that background these fashion figures seem to reincarnate an 'Aryan myth' of the 1930s.)
