Lazy Saturday on the banks of the Shenandoah River

What do you do on a lazy Saturday afternoon on the banks of the Shenandoah? Sun bathe? Take pictures? Or hug someone special?

i really enjoyed this series. reminds me of saturday's we used to spend at the beaver kill in up state NY. it might be me, but life just doesn't seem as simple anymore as what you've captured here. everything is break neck speed. where are all the psp's, iphones and dvd players in these shots? : )

You're right, of course. Life isn't simple and it often moves at break neck speed. I shoot film because it slows me down.

And where are the "toys"? Well, everyone has a cell phone but since water and electronics don't mix well, they were kept in the pockets more than usual ;-) Nice, actually.
