They are all outstanding shots - personally I really like the cockpit shots - the last one reminds me of a similar shot by Tim Page.

Number 2 is especially good IMHO. The wood 'steering wheels' are teriffic.

I really like the last cockpit shot, too - the combination of light and symmetry is outstanding and it's a classic view.

this flight was the first time I hade some photographer in mind.....Larry Burrows, Tim Page and Horst Faas!..the German member of the story...

it is so different to fly this way and great not doing it in war time...
