Stu, thanks as always.

Tim, send me a PM to remind me. I'd love to meet & shoot. Thanks for the kind words.

W, thanks for the support. I kinda like this one in particular myself.

S, thanks. We need to get together and shoot some stuff. We like the same places. Send me your email & I'll put you in the NY Leica group's emails.

van, thanks & if you send me your email, I'll do the same. I assume you're in the metro area.

Ivan, thanks. This spot is one of the real iconic images that has gone unchanged in my lifetime. It is the meeting spot for so many people and a sign post of a lifestyle that refuses to be amalgamated. Very unusual for NYC.

LLT, thanks.

JC,as always, thanks for your kind words.

Martin, Yeah Back at you. You need to get over here & burn baby burn with us. I promise you a very good time

A classic in the category of 'vernacular buildings' - those that speak the dialect of another era.

Martin, it's on the southwestern edge of Prospect Park, in Brooklyn. The park is the largest green space in Brooklyn & has lots of diverse charachters. The neighboor hood is not really the same as in the movie, but close.

Lovely capture and composition.

I like the short DOF and the extra blur. Gives a very nice vintage glass plate photo mood.
