The first photo of the old lady in the train is LFI Gallery's Editor's Choice this week. Check it out here: LFI Gallery - Galerie
The pictures were taken with an M8 or a D-Lux 3. Hope you enjoy them. eman59 |

First impression is how much the images looked like they were taken in a "clean" room. Immaculate settings. I never experienced San Francisco in that way. Georgeous compositions & execution. Very striking and well presented. Wonderful tonal ranges, contrast and a surreal air, particular in the street scenes. Can you present the color versions as well? Can't wait to see more. BTW, Welcome Aboard Captain.

Thanks for the kind comments. Much appreciated, especially coming from this user group. Like Kirk said, here are more Left Coast people. Hope you like them too.
Roguewave -- I don't have the color originals anymore. I lost all my RAW files when my computer crashed last month. |

Outstanding! Nothing else to say.
How did your picture become the LFI editors choice? I don't ever recall anyone published on a Leica publication posting anything on this forum but I may be wrong. You have raised the bar for the rest of us! Cheers, Wilfredo Benitez-Rivera Photography |

Truly some lovely work here.
Quote:
Doug Herr had a whole section to himself last year, and those of us who went to Berlin for the One Challenge all had our shots published in a 4 page spread. Harald Benz (Haribo here) has 5 1/2 pages, all to himself, in the 6/2008 Edition. Plus there are more that I can't find at the moment.
