Default Jazz At 5

We are very fortunate here to have one of the best jazz musicians in the country living in town. His name is Ben Sidran (piano) and his son, Leo, is a great drummer who often plays gigs with him--although he has now moved to New York. I saw them a few days ago at a weekly outdoor jazz performance and they were really cooking! M6, 35 lux pre-ASPH, Fuji Velvia 50.

Beautiful series Brent,
Capturing the artists and their location. #2 really puts one in a sense of place.
Cheers,

Brent -

Excllent angles, composition, light, color and detail. And I've been a Ben Sidron fan for decades.

Thanks very much, William. I wish I could have made them look as good as they sounded.

Thank you, Stuart. Look for Leo out there. He plays with some very good musicians. I've known him since he was a baby and have been a friend of Ben and his wife, Judy, for about 30 years. Great people! We're very lucky to have him here.

Brent, nice images (except the blown cymbal!) Sidron is like an encyclopedia of Jazz.

Brent, very strong compositions that take your eye right through the image. Well captured.
