Summer had been cooler lately, it's fresh at night in the Hamptons and I had to argue a long time to convince my model to get into the pool to take the shot... the water is not as warm as it should be in late August. No, I am not underwater myself, it's a nice effect due to the light and the wide angle I think:

Pierre -
I agree with Dieter regarding the color being a bit more interesting. Very nice effect. Are these from the diving board? My only ocmplaint is that they are too tall to view without scrolling on my 17 inch monitor. |

Stu, I will try to resize later on tonight for better viewing on smaller monitors The trick with these shots was to stand on a little bridge that sits in the middle of the pool and shoot mostly from above, either with a 35lux or better with a Zeiss 15mm (for which I had to crop my feet out of the resulting photo ). Here is another view, much more conventional, both color and B&W, what do you think? ![]() or ![]() |

Nice images. How long can you model keep her breath?
Personally I would go for colour. I like the blue which gives a nice contrast to the lady. Stefan |

great shots...i tend to like BW better, but i think in this case, the color works a little better.
Ill be in the Hamptons this weekend, I wonder if you can try to convince my wife to model for similar shots... ![]() |
