Default Bronze age

I thought they could fit in the people category even if their skin is quite tough.

Thanks for any comment

Enrico,

The supplemental two B&W images are lovely and quite powerful ... yet another illustration of how, sometimes, too much information (in this case, color) can reduce the impact of an otherwise strong capture. I love those two images.

Bellissimo!

Enrico -

Excellent series for the framing, angle, detail and contrast. I prefer the impact of the color.

Enrico, I love this subject and your pictures dealing with it - and against any odds (IMHO) it is quiete difficult to take pictures of statues that are not only documenting their posture but reflecting their lively appearance and their charm! Well done!

All the best
Jyn

PS: I'd still go with Randy and prefer the B&W ones - but after all, I admit to sadly only have a proper eye for monochrome (as one can possibly see from my posts here...) and still find it very hard to take reasonably good color shots. Mainly, because I find it difficult to reduce the amount of information to support my subject and stress the message - if color is in, I feel I have to work with more cropping, or balance colors more intentionally or just make sure in any other way that my idea doesn't get overwhelmed... Oh jeez, reading this I guess I just need much more practice in color! Mental note: get new job with more free time and some proper slide films...

Thank you very much to anybody for the encouraging comments. I will go back to these amazing groups and will try to experiment some bokeh. I think it could add even more pathos.
