Default Another shot with my Leica III

Somewhere on the Jersey side I found this statue - quite a strong message...

Wow. Powerful piece, lovely photo. I believe the emblem has the Polish imperial eagle, and the soldier is cavalry. Any inforamtion about it?

I can only add .......... I have seen this statue in the "TURN ABOUT" at the west end of Montgomery Street in Jersey City, NJ, near the PATH Train Station and in view of downtown Manhattan which can be seen directly across the Hudson River.

That's exactly where I took it... I think it is a memorial about the Katyn Massacre, that took place in WW2. Googleing, I even found some pictures on Flickr: Jersey City: Katyn Memorial on Flickr - Photo Sharing! !
