Of the whole project, I find the one of the man with (what I assume is) his own photograph the most touching. It says something interesting & special about photography - that this nice old geezer identifies with the 'young warrior' in himself & still carries a photo of himself to keep that figure alive. And he whips it out for the photographer, wanting it to be seen along with (in juxtaposition to?) his contemporary appearance. Very interesting re: aging, history, photography, & your own encounter with him.
I hope you can give him a print - & next time he can hold that one up too! Kirk |

They are all great images but my favorite is the last. Only because I know you shoot a lot of street basketball do I assume it is a player taking a break. Due to the close cropping, it can be interpreted in a multitude of directions. Congratulations, looks like it was a great workshop. Cheers, |
