Excelelnt framing, depth, detail and color. Unusually nice tuning machines on the mandolin.

Stuart, the interesting thing about the instrument is that it is actually a low priced mandolin, a Strad-o-lin, they were known for putting out a great sound. Presto bought it used in 1957-58 for about $25 and has used it ever since, both professionally and on more casual occasions. I don't know if he ever changed the tuning machines.
