I am A.M. / P.M. about posting this shot. So just a roughy.
There isnt any more to it than you see. It is the carpet reality of their life, normal and usual for them in every way, not the scene of some devistation.

Ps. Does this image also exist in colour, or was it taken on B+W stock

It was a c41 fuji 100 but with a lowest resolution single pass scan so its pretty lumpy. Dont blame the film

An ironic & powerful sequel to the 'Family of Man' tradition - where we now see happy children even in the trash pile. An image to remember!

Love the low angle and placements of your subjects. They are all so cute and happy despite what we may perceive as a 'devastation'.
Lovely b&w work with great depth.
