A Slice of the SF Bay commute life

This forum is an inspiration. I am a bonafide neophyte when it comes to "street photography" but the tips I've read here on the forum have helped immensely.

That said, here's a few shots from today's ride home. The technique follows the advice of several street shooters: know your field of view, shutter, aperture, and pay attention to the distance scale on the venerable 35mm Summicron

....all taken while the M8 was resting on my knee.

Thanks for the kind words but speaking about technicals...this additional photo shows I need to work on getting things like my own foot out of the shot.

Hi;
To me # 1 and 3 are the best. In those to pictures there is some interaction between the people, there are something happening in the pictures. # 2 is more a registration of someone entering the subway.

Should be pretty easy to crop.

Oddly enough, I find your name appealing.

I agree with you on which were more interesting but what caught my eye in #2 was the look of the woman on the left...looking up at the man actually leaving the train. A tiny detail but it was that one eye looking up...
