Jonathan, you have the nose & the eye for outstanding reportage. Great connection with the crowd & it's most alluring faces. You were very brave to be doing such crazy things like this in Argentina. I have many friends in Miami that have "lost" family members that are still unaccounted for.

I like them both but I prefer the second one.
Excellent tones, contrast and right in the middle of the action. But unfortunalely not a nice situation for people living there. Pierre-Olivier |

beautifully photographed
superb details (the faces are all clearly depicted in the second) and wonderful light in both the composition of the second photograph is exceptional, IMHO the flags act to lead the eye towards the figure on the extreme left, above the crowd & seemingly hold a microphone both are excellent, but the second is thrilling photography what were they protesting? |

Jonathan, I want to apologize for my using Amado's name in reference to my comments and appreciation of your work. It's not easy to be an old man. Apologies, I hope, should mend this tear. Peace, Ben

RE your earlier post: I took these in Colombia. The environment was pretty heavy. My wife, from there, has had close family members very negatively affected by the violence there. Nothing happened to me though, thank God. |

Martin, I, too, like the woman in the foreground in that photo. Thanks.
Rolo, you're right--this was one of my crash courses in quick focusing...got the bird flipped to me that afternoon--proud moment that was! JE |
