Default Noctilux Shots, Hollywood, CA.

Here are some additional shots from Hollywood Boulevard. These were all shot at f/1 at ISO 640 on the M8. I've made some minor adjustments in Lightroom. I'm attaching color files but in my opinion they actually looks better in black and white.

Drummer - f/1 @ 1/60 sec
Listening to Music - f/1 @ 1/250 sec
Roosevelt Hotel - f/1 @ 1/500 sec
Middle Finger - f/1 @ 60 sec
Lady in Green Hat - f/1 @ 1/25

David -

Excellent series, and even the freak flipping the bird is quite good. All have lovely light, color and 3D effect.

The Noctilux was a perfect choice for these shots. It really helped pull out the flavor of the area--with your expertise, of course. Good color and action throughout.

I found the 1.25x viewfinder magnifier very helpful in focusing while shooting at night.

It even helps in daylight, expecially when working at large apertures with very little DOF.

Wonderful work , especially the one with the girl showing the middle finger ... I love using my Noctilux and it's always a pleasure seeing what other people do with it .

These are great! You should do more of that kinky crazy place. Great combo of lens and camera. Maybe less saturation, but I like the color. Don't let them steal your camera as, "Down in Hollywood they're lookin' for a sucker like you!"
