A miller Posted March 18, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 18, 2015 wow, now that's much better tonal range, particularly for basic scans from the lab! To set the stage a little, these shots were taken facing EAST on a very sunny morning last week. The people are walking WEST, with the sun to their backs. Their faces are being illuminated by a giant reflection from the windows of the new Freedom Tower which is about a quarter mile or so away. This particular street block glows in a stunning fashion from basically all directions during a short 15-30 minute period this time of year. The third and fifth are stellar, and I also like the 8th for the beauty and expression. I remember those glasses on the woman in the third - very unique! The eye contact in the 5th combined with the beauty is really the ideal capture in this type of context. I look forward to more outings - how about this Thursday am? Anyone else?

Guest Posted March 21, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 21, 2015 Just a guess, Steve You are very tall? Great shots + M-A! Thanks for showing, Simon
sblitz Posted March 24, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted March 24, 2015 Thanks all . . . . Simon -- Not very tall, 5'11" in stocking feet. There was an entry ramp on the side where I stood away from the flow to take the shots. Adam likes to mix it up in the middle, I am bit more reluctant that way...
