My wife and I were walking out of Humayun's tomb in Delhi when we noticed the daughter of the caretaker looking out to the main complex.
M8, 28 lux, ISO 160, 1/30 Comments appreciated.

I find it very strange that the pattern from the window is repeated on her blue dress. It makes me belive the girl is translucent (an angel, perhaps??) or you have done some monkeybusiness in PS? Or is it some kind of halo -effect?
But nice and intriguing shot!

Azzo,
thank you, we were lucky to have noticed her as we were leaving. Rob, shot this with manual exposure, not sure what browser you are using, on Firefox this looks quite nice to me. Hookeye, the tomb has these carved marble gates on both ends, the pattern you see on her back is reflected from behind her. No PS used here, I made minor adjustments in Aperture mostly color sat and contrast for posting. Thanks

![]() Any filter on the best lenses of the world is absolutely nonsense. I hope Leica will stop the M8 soon and bring out an successor without the need to use filters. Last edited by s.m.e.p. : 10/11/07 at 11:01 PM. |
