Advertisement Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Hi A miller, Take a look here Some ad hoc NYC street "portraits". I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sharookh Posted September 2, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 2, 2014 A very nice collection of images, Adam. The guy playing the guitar is my favourite. Did you realise he had a small speaker stuck in the back of his pants playing the song in the background whilst his video was being shot ( I recall on a phone or small camera)...?

A miller Posted September 2, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted September 2, 2014 Many thanks, Sharookh and Lami. Sharookh - Between trying to hold focus and thinking about how to catch up with you and Stuart, I really don't notice much about the man with the guitar
epand56 Posted September 5, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Adam, beautiful images with great focus and tones. Last one is superb. Edited September 5, 2014 by epand56

250swb Posted September 6, 2014 Share #7 Posted September 6, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great work Adam, a cut above many street portraits, these all exhibit expressions that are separate to the intervention of the photographer. So each has an enigmatic quality, lost in their own worlds, you wonder what they are thinking. Steve
Brenton C Posted September 6, 2014 Share #8 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) #4 looks like he would be singing songs of faith. Some real passion there! Edit: Ok, maybe more than just "passion" -- the guy looks a little intense. Edited September 6, 2014 by Brenton C

LichMD Posted September 7, 2014 Share #11 Posted September 7, 2014 Great series. I really love the Mandler look of the Lux 75/1.
A miller Posted September 7, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted September 7, 2014 Many thanks, Steve, Brenton, Becker, Stefan and LichMD - I really appreciate you stopping by. I'm still unclear as to whether the yellow filter adds anything (other than odd stares from people). All the best, Adam
wilfredo Posted September 7, 2014 Share #13 Posted September 7, 2014 Lovely set of portraits. I've been using a yellow filter on my lenses and find that with the MM, skin tones look very pleasing. On my 75mm CV lens, I have an orange/yellow filter which also works very well. Great shots!
