The wickedly precise focus on the cigarette is superb but for me the image is about the individual and not the cigarette in itself. Had the story been the other way round, I'd be right with you. It is the cigarette! The beautiful expression behind it supports the glow of the burning end. It takes skill and a good eye to make it work. Ben did, IMO.
