StS Posted April 11, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 11, 2014 I like the first for the story, the composition and the trace of blue. Stefan
allamande Posted April 12, 2014 Share #3 Posted April 12, 2014 The last one, though a great frame, doesn't belong with this otherwise very strong set. I love the human interest story here, everyone doing their thing as they are beginning their day. Very poignant and diversified set of activities, from smoking to praying. On second thought, I see the last one as a stand in for you, the observer. Excellent set! Ece

Hank Taylor Posted April 12, 2014 Share #6 Posted April 12, 2014 Stuart I don't know if you deserve an award or a donut and coffee for being up so early in the morning. Just the same, nice set of pictures Hank

robert_parker Posted April 12, 2014 Share #8 Posted April 12, 2014 Hi Stuart I really like image three for it's sense of irony and four for the slightly sinister feel that it has about it

John Basso Posted April 17, 2014 Share #15 Posted April 17, 2014 Hello Stuart. A Vg set of images of happenings in the early mornings in the big city.Did you set your alarm clock for this . I never have been an early riser except during my stint in the army.It hurts to much. By the way .How can I post pictures like you and centre them. I haven't got a clue.Greetings: John Basso. Ulev Posted April 18, 2014 Share #17 Posted April 18, 2014 Thank you for sharing. I'd return another morning and try to get a better shot of picture #3. For me, a strong shot but due to it's poor quality it has this paparazzi "look", as in taken from far and then cropped. In contrary with, for example picture #1 and the last one, that are far more "clean", in order to keep the serie "consistent". Personally, I would exclude the last picture because I don't see the connection. Maybe not a bad idea to take your own reflection, as being "awake" yourselve !? stuny Posted April 18, 2014 Author Share #18 Posted April 18, 2014 Brent - thank you. Luc - Thank you. I wish I had done better with #3 and I should try to recreate it another morning. It was the first shot of the day and I was more excited by the opportunity than I should have been. I think you're right about trying to get my reflection in #5. John - Thank you. Barbara & I like to get to work early (usually by 6:30) and I get up early even on weekends, though Barbara luxuriates in sleeping in. To post with the images centered (and you'll notice space between them) I forget the first, one-time only step, which I think involved right clicking on the tool bar to add the attachment paperclip icon. Then I type my message, press the Enter key twice, click the centered icon in the button bar. then click the attach icon, browse for and upload the image(s), close that window. Click the attach icon again and click Post All Images (or something like that). it takes a bit more time but I much prefer it even with just one image. John Basso Posted April 19, 2014 Share #19 Posted April 19, 2014 Hello Stuart. Thank you ever so much for enlighten me with your guidance of how to centre an image. I will give it a valiant try . Greetings: John Basso
