Now this is the Stefan I have grown to know and love. An excellent example of the triumph of artistic merrit over technical precision.

Are these your children? I seem to recognize both girls from other shots, although I could be mistaken. The littel girl in bed looks like the one in your shot with the child in front of the field. (#6 in Daily Life (One of my all time favorite pictures from anyone)).

Well done. With this level of skill available to you, it makes the HipShot pictures all the more confusing. It is a bit like Rousseau showing off his latest paint-by-numbers work.

This really is very nice. I'm not sure it would look good as a print due to the blown highlights, but it looks great on a monitor.

The hardest thing is to photograph a black cat in a dark room. Especially if there is no cat.

stefan.. amazing high key life-style/fashion like photograph.. amazing.. if you have the m8 till then, on the next fashion or editorial project, you come with this pic and what every camera to make sure that you will be kicked off... hahhaha

i hope you take serious photos of your family.... it would be a pitty that from father like you those will be the images that your daugher have )

by the way.. the frame is a little bit stacked.... (even if it horizontal).. could have been a nice image.. what a pitty that you play with camera camera camera .... hahahha )

your teaching method ??!!! well.. take the time.. i will not say anything... maybe it is not bad after all

there will not a lot of pictures left when they are older ) most of them fly into the garbage can under the table, this one is ok, nice light and expression.

Well Dirk Gisela and Rainer,

It seems obvious that for children the world is much larger... I very much like the picture, Stefan, something about the right moment, expression ... the rest is ... irrelevant.

Incredible photographs on your site!

And I love this image - don't actually understand some of the criticisms above about 'playing' with cameras(?) But never mind - you're obviously an artist of the medium.

I'm curious about which camera - though that detail is obviously not important (just curious!)
