I haven't seen you posting for a while.

Lovely rich M8 shot here. Creamy tones. His outfit, the newspaper and your development make it look timeless.

Is the D2 gathering dust then?

Michael, indeed, the D2 is now used as strict backup solution (although I really miss its silent shutter). But actually, what I truly miss, is my M8, in Solms for multiple repairs, i.e., sensor, shutter, RF alignment...

I don't remember experimenting such a fusion with a camera as I do with the M8. I definitely am in love, not exactly with the gear, but rather with the "looking trough" thing...

But, man, what an impressive series of technical problems too! ;-)

Nevertheless, I am eagerly waiting for news from Solms, especially as I received yesterday a beautiful CLA-ed and coded 35 summicron (ver. 4)...
