I think #1 & #2 work best so that the head doesn't have to compete with anything else, maintaining the simplicity of the head itself. Those two are superb. |

Thanks, Stuart and John. Stuart, I agree that the plain settings are best. John, the piece is cast glass by a Swedish designer named Bertil Vallien. He did a series of these heads, called "brains," for Kosta Boda.
