Default When did they paint her?

This is a good mate to a thread I posted three days ago of a sporting goods store window display of baseball caps in the form of the US flag ("America's Pastime"). The real Statue of Liberty is much larger, has an aged, copper skin, and stands on a small island in the harbor, south-southeast of this 5th Avenue store that sells New York Yankee baseball team souvenirs.

There are over 500 more NYC photos in the New York photo gallery on our site.

Hi Stuart,

Are they painting Lady Liberty all over town? ["Statues of Liberty on Parade"]
Should be a nice photo scavenger hunt if that's what this is.

Cheers,
Henry

Interesting picture. There is an element that does not resonate here. We have the Statue of Liberty, the U.S. flag, but the New York Yankees logo seems to come from different list...?? Maybe clever marketing.

Stu, too bad the boys in the Bronx can't get as many hits as you're getting with this series.

Henry - I have no idea if this will be spading, but I'm on the watch.

Michael - Thank you. Just marketing.

Ben - Thank you, and it is a shame.
