Default Saturday Night, Los Angeles

Here's what I like about rangefinder shooting: Carrying the camera all day in a messenger bag, not trying to force any photos. Then, at the end of a round-trip train ride, finding this shot. M8 and a 28 cron, f 2.8, 1/11 second.

Nice, steady handheld shot; try doing that with a 5D! Very nice framing.

Cheers,
Henry

My point exactly. Actually, a 5D - or in my case a D200 -- would not have been brought along for the trip.

Thank you both.

Gordon -

I certainly appreicate the composition and depth but I feel it needs post processing. The "quickie" adjustments below took less than 30 seconds.

I like it! You're right, I did nothing to the image after converting it to monochrome in Apple Aperture 2. I'm guessing you worked on contrast.

Thanks!

I use (out of familiarity) ACDSee, which came with my first digital camera (D2). I just clicked Exposure > Automatic and liked what I saw. Then I sharpened a bit.
