After Cheryl & Rob’s wedding we drove further south and west to a town that was surveyed and laid out by George Washington in 1751. In this adorable town, very close to the Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Mountains, is the Inn at Little Washington, a beautiful inn with exceptional service and food. The owner/chef has Dalmatian dogs, and for the evening turndown leaves some fine port and dog biscuit shaped shortbread on the night table.

A wonderful study in light and colour. Very attractive, indeed. You should offer it to the owner for use in his marketing material!

Louis is right about the publication quality of this photo, Stuart. The natural light is beautifully captured and composition is excellent.
