[quote=photography is therapeutic for me. It balances the other aspects of my life.Carolina[/QUOTE]
Carolina, I think it is the same for most of us. May be this is our way to dream about a better world than this we have to live in! José |

like your other posts, this is one more wonderful abstract. I find it very intriguing cos it seems to allude to those science pics from cloud chambers and particle accelerators which somehow picture atoms, with their fields of probable electrons etc. how did u generate it, if thats not a trade secret?

Tim it's not secret- hopefully the pictures will describe the process - basically an image is duplicated , turned either 90 ccw or cw , flipped horizontally then overlapped with the original image to produce a square image with diagonal symmetry( I play with the composition and blending modes until I like what I see). Then this square image is duplicated flipped and stitched to produce the final image. Hope this makes sense. Carolina

Doh! makes perfect sense. thanks for troubling to explain. what fascinates me about this image is the way that pattern is arising along the lines of symmetry, analogous maybe with the sort of image generated in crystal difraction pictures etc. lovely work.
