Tim, I think this is a very cool shot with a lot going on. Is it film or digital? There's lots of great information in these tones and with some work in Photoshop, I believe you have a wonderful image to play with. It's nice as is, but this "sinster" feel can be used to drive the image to get the viewer deeper into all the action.

This is a wunderfull picture for postprocessing.

thanks for your positive comments, Ben and Harry. I have a feeling I'm missing something with some pics. could be I'm not too au fait with PS. or that my little Macbook is too small to see my stuff properly on. Open to suggestions, of course. Sharpen? Darken blacks? Boost contrast? This image is slightly cropped M8 jpeg from DNG. I quite like it as it is tho I will tinker with it later, perhaps a tighter crop, to see if it can be lifted a bit.
