A narrow city road in Piemont, Velvia 100 slide scan, slightly tortured.
The 2nd photo is a 50% reduced image detail crop from the center just to show off more resolution.
The goal was to create a painting and in order to get a promotion as a fine-art photographer "a la Pecker".

Quite special effect, but I like it anyway. Even if I don't feel it has the specific provencal mood and colors.

The photo was taken in Cuneo (Piemont, Italy), not in provence.
(For my taste les vill[ag]es en France have less attractive lampadaires, but maybe la vieille ville de Coni is an exception; see street light detail, 70% of full resolution in 2nd attachment.)

I attach another version of the same photo, flipped horizontally, which might look more provencal, since maybe ... I'm not sure about, France is a little less left wing compared to Italy.

In France the street signs say "Coni" instead of Cuneo. don't know why.

I actually quite like these, even though I would not "torture" my photos to achieve that result.
