In the M8 forum, there has been a discussion of M8 users posting on a thread their single favorite M8 photo taken since last November, when the camera first reached our hands. I was volunteered to go first ;-) So here's the challenge: sort through your library of M8 shots and post the ONE shot that is your favorite. Here's mine, taken last March at the Paro Tsechu, a festival in Paro, Bhutan:

Wilson - lovely, and thank you for posting. Over on the M8 forum, Jaap has suggested that each of us should be able to submit three photographs. I'm game, if others are. So: let's see the THREE photos taken with an M8 each of us thinks is emblematic of the camera.

My second effort - "Windy Day" Elmar-M 50 B+W 092 Infra-Red Filter. Converted from DNG in C1 using Edmund's 1102TunedC1 profile. Then converted in Lab Colour mode to B&W in CS3.

John,
Difficult to judge yours - they look good but you are posting very small images. You can post JPEG's up to 244KB and with a maximum dimension of 959 pixels. If your image comes out larger memory size than 244KB with this dimension, just reduce the JPEG quality - you will be pushed to notice on screens that you have done this. Wilson |
