Here are mine - all taken on the Isle of Wight, UK
The first is the Red Arrows display team, the second is Ryde beach looking towards Portsmouth, and the third is a join of two pics (hence the aspect ratio) of St Catherine's Oratory, Blackgang. |

For what it is worth, I have only had my M8 for about 3 weeks (at most) and I have a new baby so I haven't taken photos of anything much other than our baby. But still, here are my favourite shots, not sure if they qualifies as anywhere near 'best' compared to all the other incredible pictures on this forum though.

Only posted one image earlier (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-...tml#post365391) as I hadn't had the M8 long. Two more, now this thread's alive again. Both taken with a Summilux 35/1.4 pre-asph.

The power of the M8 to me is it's ability to connect modern digital photography with the lenses used over 50 years ago to create pictures that look more like oil paintings. Here is the M8 connected to an ancient ARCO 135.

Great idea. What about copyright issues? I'm O.K. with this project as long as my images don't end up in some other publication without my permission. This issue may have already been raised by others. Here's my 3 cents worth. I think this will be the best Leica photography book ever published IMHO.

I photographed this White Iris water lily in my back yard in Yuma, Arizona. I call it as "spring unfolds" { © Daniel Ortego } and it was captured with my silver 50-lux asph @ 1,4 /160, EV -2/3. Perhaps it may be considered for the book that Bill is preparing.
